How to Force HTTPS Redirects on Your Website

Forcing HTTPS ensures that visitors always access your site securely. Here is how to set up a redirect in cPanel:


1. Log in to cPanel

  • Access your cPanel (Control Panel) using your hosting credentials.


2. Open Redirects Section

  • In cPanel, navigate to the Redirects section.


3. Set Up the Redirect

  1. Type: Select Permanent (301) from the drop-down.

  2. Redirects to: Enter your website’s URL using the Shared SSL Certificate.

    • We recommend checking Redirect with or without www.

  3. Wild Card Redirect: Make sure this option is selected.


4. Apply the Redirect

  • Click Add to save your redirect.

Your website will now automatically redirect all HTTP requests to HTTPS.
