Configure Outlook 2013

  1. Open Outlook 2013 from the Start Menu.
  2. On the top left, click the ‘File’ tab.
  3. Click on ‘Add Account’.
  4. Check ‘Manual setup or additional server types’ and click ‘Next’.
  5. Select POP or IMAP and click ‘Next’.
  6. Enter Your name and E-mail Address.
  7. Select IMAP as your account type.
    1. For Incoming mail server (IMAP) enter the server.
    2. For Outgoing mail server (IMAP) enter the server.
    3. In Login Information, enter your e-mail address and password.
    4. Check the box, ‘ Require login using Secure Password Authentication’.
  8. Click on ‘More Setting’.
  9. Select ‘Outgoing Server’ and check ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’.
  10. Select ‘Advanced’
    1. For Incoming server(IMAP) enter 993 and select SSL.
    2. For Outgoing Server(SMTP) enter 465 and select SSL.
  11. Click ‘Ok’ and then ‘Next’.
  12. Your account will then be tested automatically.
  13. After the Test click ‘Close’.
